Had really nice experience, overall vibrant and popular place.
We have booked deluxe king room with incredibly comfortable facilities. The location was excellent, at a short distance from Auckland Town Hall. Shopping centres and various shops were right next door.

Wonderfully luxurious accommodation, helpful friendly staff and our every need was catered for. Food was fantastic, in fact we did not want to leave, alas we had to return to reality. Loved the experience so much we have re-booked for a longer stay.
There was nothing we did not like.

Spacious rooms. Very clean and well kept. Luxurious decor throughout. In room equipment exceeded my expectations. Complimentary daily newspaper/chocolate/mineral water was nice.
Parking can be full at times as the hotel seems to be a popular location for local events. Sound isolation between adjacent rooms with connecting door not perfect. Internet/Gym/Pool costly options. Tv crippled by low quality set-top-box and restrictive controls. Also channel selection decent, but could be wider. Tv itself was a surprisingly good quality set (2010 model 40" Sony Bravia). Very friendly service, but could be more professional. For example, although asking early check-in in advance, then sampling the check-in clerk several times upon arrival, I finally received the room at around the official check-in time which was a few hours after my arrival.

The staff were very welcoming and inclusive and answered all our questions helpfully. The service was seamless. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities in the room were very tasteful.
The only thing that marred our experience was when we went to have a cup of tea in our room in the morning, the fridge in our room wasn't on and the milk in the fridge had in fact curdled (so not sure how long it had been in the room). The staff were very helpful in bringing another carton of milk, but it would have been nice not to have waited for this.

The check-in process could be more streamlined.

Everything is absolutely perfect in this hotel...from the friendly staff on check in to the quality and variety of the breakfast. A memorable stay, specially when we remember the relaxing moments spent on the exclusive Club Langham.
The distance to the Harbour and downtown area is somewhat of a negative aspect. Also rom decor is slightly outdated but that is Langham style and the comfort offered really pays.

The heated pool and spa really helped me unwind after a long day, and I enjoyed the beautiful city views from my Beautiful King room. Just a heads up, the dining prices were a bit steep for my taste, but overall it was a fantastic experience 😊
